Drishyam style Crime Unfolds in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar – Police Intensify Probe

A chilling incident has surfaced in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, where a gruesome murder has transpired, sending shockwaves through the community. 

The crime, revealed by the Hindi film ‘Drishyam,’ has not only garnered significant box office success but has also brought attention to a real-life event unfolding in the city.

The police, led by the Kranti Chowk department, uncovered a horrifying scene as they excavated an 8 to 12-foot pit at the crime scene, where 4 to 5 human bones were discovered. The incident, which occurred 14 months ago, has now resulted in the gruesome discovery of blood.

Avinash Salve’s brother, Rahul Salve, confessed to the crime during the investigation, with police authorities taking him into custody promptly. 

The incident, which took place on January 13, 2023, came to light on February 17, 2024, after almost a year. Saturday saw the police engage in a 12-hour-long excavation process, unearthing the skeletal remains of an individual.

The forensic team will conduct further examination after submitting bone fragments found near the eight to ten pipelines surrounding the crime scene. 

The forensic investigation aims to identify the remains conclusively, shedding light on any potential further twists in this unsettling case.

Following Rahul’s admission, the Kranti Chowk police initiated a comprehensive investigation, with further details of the event surfacing. 

The chilling revelation was made after a drunken party, where Rahul confessed to assaulting Avinash, leading to his demise.

While the story depicted in the film ‘Drishyam’ has drawn parallels to this real-life incident in Sambhajinagar, the unfolding details suggest unique twists and turns. 

The investigation is ongoing, with the police facing the challenge of identifying any additional evidence in the pit.
