Encroachments removed near Shedge vasti from Mahalunge to MIDC circle
On January 18, 2024, around 8,227 square feet of encroachment and unauthorized constructions within the boundary of a 36-meter road from Shedge Vasti at Mahalunge to MIDC Chowk, Mahalunge was removed by Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA).
As per further information from PMRDA, due to the encroachments on this road, there was a lot of traffic congestion. Hence, this action will speed up the road work in the TP scheme and this action will help smoothen the traffic on the said route.
Officers and staff of PMRDA were present while removing the encroachments. An appeal was made by Monica Singh, Deputy Commissioner, PMRDA, to remove all encroachments on the road.
