Exhibition Showcasing 30 years Dance Journey of ‘The Sasha Waltz & Guests’

Pune, 13th December 2023 Goethe Institut Max Mueller Bhavan and Centre of Contemporary Dance, Pune have organized a unique exhibition showcasing the 30 years dance & choreographic journey of ‘The Sasha Waltz & Guests’, Berlin’s most important institution for contemporary dance. The exhibition’s theme is Engage | Experience | Evolve.

It is being held at Pune Handmade Paper, Shivajinagar, and will be open till Friday 22nd December 2023 from 11am to 7pm. Entry to the exhibition is free and open for all to visit.  

Apart from the dance journey of Sasha Waltz, the exhibition offers an opportunity to witness her artistic process, get detailed information about her profound projects like Dialogue, Zu Hoeren, and learn about her vision for a better future through the Children’s Dance Company and the ‘In C’ Project. During the entire duration of the exhibition, Punekar’s can also experience engaging dance workshops offered by various groups.

‘The Sasha Waltz & Guests’ is Berlin’s most important institution for contemporary dance, and is known for its grand productions and extraordinary choreographic works in empty spaces. The institution is also known for its contributions to stage elements and spatial design

which brings out unique forms in choreographic expressions.
