Exit polls predict a win for Supriya Sule in Baramati and an edge for Mohol, Barne, and Kolhe in Pune, Maval, and Shirur, respectively.  In the Pune seat, contrary to expectations, the exit polls have given BJP’s Murlidhar Mohol an edge over Congress candidate Ravindra Dhangekar. It was widely believed that Dhangekar would replicate his performance from the Kasba Peth bypoll. However, exit polls predict a different result.

Most exit polls today predict a close fight between Mahayuti and Maha Vikas Aghadi for Maharashtra’s 48 seats. In Pune district, the contest for the four seats is expected to be intense. Three exit polls—India Today-Axis My India, TV9-Pollstrat, and ABP-CVoter—predict a victory for NCP (S-P) Supriya Sule in Baramati. Sule, facing Sunetra Pawar, wife of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, is set to win the seat for the fourth consecutive time.

In Maval, the exit polls predict a third consecutive victory for Shiv Sena candidate Shrirang Barne, who is contesting against Sanjog Waghere of Shiv Sena (UBT).

In Shirur, as expected, the exit polls predict a victory for actor and sitting MP Amol Kolhe. He faced Shivajirao Adhalrao-Patil of the NCP led by Ajit Pawar.

Overall, the exit polls give the BJP-led Mahayuti 22-25 seats in Maharashtra. The predictions highlight a competitive political landscape in Pune district and the state.
