Expedite work for covid hospitals for children in Pune city; Jagdish Mulik

For the past few days vaccination centers across Pune city have been closed due to lack of supply. This has not only disappointed the beneficiaries but also created a political turmoil. 

In a press conference held today, Bharatiya Janata Party Pune City president Jagdish Mulik stated that despite the unfair treatment being given by the State Government by not providing adequate vaccines to the city, Pune Municipal Corporation shall ensure Vaccine supply shall be regulated in the city. He also stated that the work for global tender for vaccination must be expedited, addition in vaccination centers is recommended, work must be sped up to tackle the probable third wave of Covid19 as predicted by the experts, covid hospitals for children must be set up soon and post covid care center must be set up in the city soon. 

The letter was presented to Pune Municipal Corporation, Vikram Kumar today by BJP Pune. The letter further mentioned that five children covid hospitals must be set up in view of the third wave of Covid to tackle the situation. 

The meeting with Vikram Kumar was attended by Mayor Murlidhar Mohol, deputy mayor Sunita Wadekar, Hemant Rasne, Ganesh Bidkar, Dheeraj Ghate, ganesh Ghosh and many others. 

In the meeting held with the PMC chief, in view of the third wave of Covid19, there is a need to increase the number of beds, oxygen beds, ventilator beds, oxygen supply, medicines, regularisation in vaccination.
