Film Actor R Madhvan nominated as Film And Television Institute of India President

The Pune-based Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) nominated actor R. Madhavan for the positions of President and Chairman of the Governing Council. 

R. Madhavan was just recently nominated for a National Award for his film, “Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. Anurag Thakur, the Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, congratulated the actor on his nomination and expressed the hope that the institute will benefit from R. Madhavan’s high moral standards.

In response, R. Madhvan, actor, tweeted, ”The actor also responded to the honour of being nominated as the President of FTII and promised to do his best to live up to the expectations. Thank you so very much for the honour and kind wishes. @ianuragthakur Ji. I will do my very best to live up to all the expectations.”
