Pune: A baby feeding room has now become a reality at the Pune International Airport. This is sure to bring great relief to the mothers and make their journey enjoyable and comfortable. 
The facility was inaugurated by Shambhavi Sharma,a passenger travelling to Delhi. 

Pune airport’s official handle tweeted, that Shambhavi Sharma, a passenger going to Delhi inaugurated a new baby feeding room at Pune Airport on Thursday.

“We are keen on improving facilities at the Pune airport. Our aim is that flyers should get all the comforts while S/he visits Pune airport. It is important to have a baby feeding room at the airport,” said Santosh Dhoke, Director, Pune airport. 

Pune airport has invested heavily in developing infrastructure. 
While the multilevel car parking project is expected to be completed by July, the new terminal building is expected to be completed by January 2023.
The Pune airport expansion project includes the construction of a new terminal building at Rs 400 crore, a multilevel car parking at Rs 120 crore and a new cargo complex at a cost of about Rs 300 crore. The construction of the new terminal building is going on at the 40,000 square metre area on the eastern side of the existing terminal building.
