PUNE: On Tuesday, a fire incident occurred at the Sane Guruji Tarun Mitra Mandal in Pune during the ongoing Ganpati event, which was being graced by the presence of JP Nadda, the National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

As per the information provided, fire rapidly spread to the upper portion of the Ganpati pandal, which had been constructed similar to Ujjain’s renowned Mahakal Temple.

As per the information received, JP Nadda, who had arrived to participate in the Aarti ceremony, was compelled to prematurely conclude the rituals and exit the premises.

Suhail Sharma, Deputy Commissioner Zone 3 informed that a case of fire incident was reported at Parvati Police station. The cause of fire is the fire crackers used by the mandal to welcome the guest. The police officers at duty immediately responded with local support and fire brigade units were deployed. JP Nadda left the spot safely to attend Aarti at Ganpati Mandal at Kothrud.
The fire has been successfully contained, and no person has sustained any injuries.
