Flight Diverted to Hyderabad Airport as Intoxicated Passengers Attempt Attack On Cabin Crew

A flight originating from Dubai and en route to Kochi was forced to make an emergency landing at Hyderabad Airport due to a disruptive incident involving four intoxicated passengers.

The incident, which unfolded on a Thursday, escalated to the point where the inebriated individuals not only caused a disturbance but also tried to physically assault the cabin crew members attempting to calm them down.

In response to the alarming situation, the flight’s pilot opted to deviate from its planned course and perform an emergency landing at Hyderabad Airport. Upon landing, airport security swiftly took control of the situation, apprehending all four unruly passengers before handing them over to the local police.

The Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) police subsequently registered a case pertaining to the incident and initiated a thorough investigation to determine the events leading up to the disruption and the attempted assault on the cabin crew.
