A man from Ghaziabad recently faced a shocking experience with his online purchase. He ordered a mobile phone valued at ₹22,000 from Flipkart on March 28. To his surprise, when he opened the package on the same day, he discovered neatly packed stones instead of the smartphone he had ordered.

Despite his attempts to return the package, Flipkart refused his request. The disappointed customer shared his ordeal on social media, expressing frustration with the situation.

The man had ordered an Infinix Zero 30 5G smartphone in Golden Hour color with 256 GB storage. Flipkart responded to his complaint, expressing regret for the inconvenience caused and offering assistance through private chat to resolve the issue.

Flipkart also warned customers about fake social media accounts impersonating their brand and advised them to avoid engaging with such handles to protect their interactions.

This incident is not an isolated case. Previously, a customer from Kashmir faced a similar issue when he ordered a Nothing Phone 2a worth ₹20,808 but received a cheaper phone from a different brand called I Kall. Despite his efforts to return the product, Flipkart rejected his request, citing vague reasons.

In response to the customer’s complaint, Flipkart’s customer service explained that the return request was denied based on confirmation from the courier service regarding the delivery of the ordered product in good condition. Additionally, they mentioned that the images provided by the customer could not be verified, causing a delay in processing the request.
