Food donation drive held in Fatima nagar

The continuous lockdown left many people without food. Those who had hoped some work had lost their daily jobs which could feed their near and dear ones. Those living around signals are going through tough times. Like last year, this year too Manjett Singh Virddi Foundation began donating food packets to many people in need.

Deepti Virddi told Pune Pulse that the biggest initiative is taken by Manjett Singh Virddi Foundation (MSVF), the Founder of MSV Foundation during the pandemic last year as well as this year by arranging food drive, langar seva for all the underprivileged from different areas of the city.

The main support to this intiative is from Gurudwara Guru Nanak Darbar Pune Camp and Gurudwara Guru Singh Sabha Ganesh Peth.

“This year, Mireya foundation has also played an important part by distributing tea and snacks to the frontline warriors as well to the needy. Luckee Properties and Modern Aartz Furnnishers came forward to help and many of our wellwishers too, ” she added.
