Forest County, Kharadi’s Green Warrior Take Green Steps Towards Cleanliness 

In a remarkable display of community spirit and environmental responsibility, the residents of Forest County Society participated in the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign held on 1st October 2023. 

The residents joined hands to clean their surroundings and local roads, instilling a sense of cleanliness and pride in their neighbourhood.

With brooms, dustbin bags, sacks, and a shared determination to make a difference, residents, both young and old and children joined forces to clean not only their immediate surroundings but also the adjacent roads. It was heartening to witness the unity and dedication with which everyone came together, underscoring the true essence of ‘Swachhata Hi Seva.’

Children, the future custodians of our planet, actively participated in this noble endeavour, learning valuable lessons about the importance of a clean environment. Their youthful enthusiasm and dedication were truly inspiring.

Forest County Society doesn’t stop at a one-time event; they have a dedicated group known as the “Green Warriors” who tirelessly work towards plastic waste management. This group ensures that plastic garbage is collected diligently and sent for recycling, contributing significantly to a sustainable and eco-friendly environment.

This society’s participation in ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ is a shining example of how collective efforts can transform a community. It is a reminder that a cleaner, more beautiful environment is not only a responsibility but, also a gift that we can give to ourselves and future generations.
