Wakad Girl’s Research Paper on Old Age Homes Recognised By BORI Pune
Rahini Gaikwad, a young woman from Palash Co-operative Housing Society Ltd, Wakad, has written a research paper called ‘Old Age Homes In India: An Economic Understanding’. It got published in a publication of Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute called Annals of the Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Rahini Gaikwad, Student & Resident of Palash Co-operative Housing Society Ltd, Wakad, said “While pursuing my studies, I was doing an internship with an organization where I studied more about old age homes, elderly people and so on. That’s when I started in-depth research about the economic/financial aspects of old age homes, lifestyle of old age people etc. Thus, I completed my research paper which is a quantitative & statistical study of old age homes, old age people, economic aspects of old age homes etc. I feel immensely proud that the research paper has been recognized by Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute.”
