Former 56 Maharashtra Players To Participate In Masters Cup 2025 Cricket Tournament Seen In Action In Pune
Pune, May 2, 2025: A total of 56 top Maharashtra Cricket players including former Ranji stars will represent six teams at the Masters Cup 2025 Cricket Tournament powered by “The Pinnacle Group “ and “The Nature “ Mukaiwadi , and played at the PYC Hindu Gymkhana on 3rd and 4th May 2025 starting at 9am to 5pm .
Sanjay Kondhalkar XI, Riyaz Bagwan XI, Shrikant Jadhav XI, Shrikant Kalyani XI, Shantanu Sugvekar XI and Vinayak Dravid XI will be the teams that will play in the two day event .
Former players who have represented Maharashtra namely Shantanu Sugwekar, Prasad Pradhan , Shrikant Kalyani , Sanjay Kondhalkar, Nitin Phadtare, Ranjit Khirid, Kaustubh Kadam, Mrugank Rathi, Karan Thapa, Satyen Lande, Riyaz Bagwan, Indrajeet Kamtekar, Ajay Chavan, Sanjay Zarekar, Sudhir Devdas, Jaydeep Narse, Chandan Gangawane, Vijay Sagam, Shrikant Jadhav, Prasad Kanade, Kaushik Aphale, Sunandan Lele, Sham Oke, Anil Walhekar, Rupak Muley, Prabhakar More , Rahul Kanade, Ameya Shrikhande, Hemant Athley, Girish Kulkarni, Ajay Nalawade, Nitin Samal, Nitin Hardikar, Rohit Khadkikar, Mangesh Vaidya, Vishal Mehta, Parag Chitale, Subhash Ranjane, Anand Dalvi, Vinayak Dravid, Niranjan Godbole, Prashant Kharade, Parag Shahane, Apurva Sane, Mandar Dalvi, Gajanan Radkar, Rajendra Manohar will be participating in this event.
The matches will be played on a league cum knockout basis. It’s a 10 over a side red ball tournament with penalty of 5 runs per wicket.. The Winner team will get trophy and Rs.50,000/-, while Runner-up team will get a Trophy and Rs.35,000/-. Apart from that Man of the Series will received trophy and Rs.15,000/-, while Best Batsman, Best Bowler, Best Wicket keeper and Best Fielder will get trophy and Rs.10,000/- each. Each man of the players will get trophy and Rs.5000/-.
A special committee comprising of Manish Sabade, Ashutosh Soman, Vinayak Dravid & Indrajeet Kamtekar has been formed for the smooth conduct of the event .
