Forum for IT Employees Alleges TCS Forced Employee to Resign Within 30 Minutes After 13 Years of Service
Pune, October 25, 2025: The Forum for IT Employees (FITE) has accused Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) of forcing a long-time employee to resign abruptly after 13 years of service. According to the union, the employee was given just 30 minutes to submit his resignation.
FITE claimed that when the employee resisted the move, he was allegedly asked to pay ₹60,000 towards health insurance that the company had paid on his behalf. The union also alleged that the employee did not receive any severance package and was instead given only three months’ gross salary.
Condemning the incident, FITE questioned why the government has not yet formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe TCS’s alleged unfair labour practices and forced resignations.
