Free bus service within SPPU campus; Read to know more

The shuttle bus service, initiated by the Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), aims to facilitate the transportation of students, faculty, and visitors from the university’s entrance gate to the primary administrative building. 

This initiative has been implemented to enhance the convenience of commuting within the campus premises.

To improve connectivity, bus stops have been strategically placed at important departments and offices, guaranteeing convenient access throughout the extensive 411-acre campus. The university has procured two buses from a private organization, enabling regular transportation within the premises.

In the past, people faced challenges in getting to the main building from the entrance gate, particularly when rickshaws were not accessible. 

The bus service starts at 10:30am and operates all day, making stops at various locations including the Jaykar Library, Chemistry Department, Examination Department, International Student Centre, University Main Building, Technology Department, Girls Hostel, Health Centre, MBA Department, Boys Hostel, and ending near the entrance.
