Life in the film industry often looks glamorous from the outside but stories like that of Pooja Dadwal reveal a very different reality. Once seen as a promising face in Bollywood her journey has been filled with unexpected highs difficult lows and a strong fight to survive.
Pooja Dadwal entered Bollywood at a young age and made her debut with the film Veergati where she starred alongside Salman Khan. Working with such a big star at the start of her career was considered a dream opportunity and many believed she had a bright future ahead. Even though she gained attention for her performance the film did not succeed at the box office and the opportunities she hoped for did not follow.

After her debut she continued trying to find work in the entertainment industry and later appeared in television shows like Aashiqui and Gharana. Despite her efforts she could not secure steady roles and slowly her presence in the industry faded. Like many actors who start with promise but struggle to maintain momentum she eventually stepped away from acting.
She later got married and moved to Goa where she reportedly worked with her husband in managing a casino. For some time life seemed stable and far removed from the struggles of Bollywood. However her life took a serious turn when she was diagnosed with severe tuberculosis along with a major lung illness. The condition affected her physically and also pushed her into financial hardship.
During this difficult time she was reportedly abandoned by her husband and in laws and was left alone in Mumbai without proper support. Her situation became so severe that she had to ask for help publicly and was admitted to a government hospital with assistance from well wishers. Her story caught public attention and members of the film industry came forward to support her including Ravi Kishan and Salman Khan who reportedly helped with her treatment expenses. She later shared that this support played a crucial role in saving her life.
After recovering from her illness her struggles did not completely end. She moved into a small chawl in Mumbai and worked as a domestic helper to survive which marked a huge change from her earlier life in films. She also tried to return to acting with a Punjabi film but it did not bring her back into the spotlight.
Today Pooja Dadwal runs a small tiffin service in Mumbai and leads a simple life focused on independence and survival. Her journey from working with a major Bollywood star to facing illness financial hardship and rebuilding her life through small means shows how unpredictable life can be.
