Frontline workers must get vaccinated at the earliest; urges Sahil Kedari

There are several sectors which are labelled under the essential services but still they are not being vaccinated on priority.

The government’s move to vaccinate health workers, police and many others in the list of frontline workers but many from the media, workers on the petrol pump, grocery store workers, vegetable and fruit vendors, milk vendors, food home delivery boys, e-commerce Delivery personnel must necessarily get the Vaccination at the earliest.

There are many from this group who are below 45 years of age and should be given vaccination.

Sahil Kedari, president, OBC Cell, Pune City District Congress Committee has written a letter to the Pune Municipal Corporation Commissioner Vikram Kumar urging him to consider the request to get these people also for vaccination.

He said, “These are those people who come in frequent contact with many people in general. These people must get the Vaccination dose for their good health.”

These people are putting their life at risk always and providing services, he added.
