Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has taken legal action against Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and General Secretary Jairam Ramesh, serving them with legal notices for sharing content on the Congress’s official X account that Gadkari claims is defamatory.

The notices allege that the Congress leaders intentionally distorted a 19-second video clip taken out of context from Gadkari’s interview with a news portal. According to Gadkari’s lawyer, the content was meant to create confusion and damage the minister’s reputation.

The notices demand the immediate removal of the video from X and a written apology within three days. Failure to comply could result in legal consequences.

The Congress leaders are accused of deliberately attempting to create a rift within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and tarnish Gadkari’s image.
