Gandhi Jayanti and Senior Citizens day celebrated by Lioness Club of Pune Metropolis Active
Members of the Lioness Club had organised several programmes to celebrate senior citizens day and Gandhi Jayanti. On 1st October World Senior Citizen’s Day VRIDHAJAN Seva was done by Lioness Club of Pune Metropolis Active in the presence of Ln/Lns.President Bina Data, Secretary Ln./Lns.Purnima Jain, Ln. Lns.Meenakshi Kumar.
The members fecilitated them with pearl garlands, Coconut and Shrimadbhagwat Geeta श्रीमदभगवदगीता books which were sponsored by the club founder Lns. Manda Vilatkar to make them feel importance of there presence.
On 2 October, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti the members taught children the importance of cleanliness and ask them to join in the cleanliness drive in the society and also distributed face masks.
At this occasion present were Deepa Jadhav, Bhagyshree More, Anjum, Indu, Bhagylaxmi were also present.
