On September 19, the auspicious time for the establishment of Lord Ganesh is from 10:50 am to 12:52 pm, with the most auspicious time being from 12:52 to 2:56 pm.

It is believed that undertaking any work during this auspicious time will yield greater benefits. On the day of Ganesh Chaturthi, it is imperative to observe the auspicious time for bringing Ganapati Bappa home and installing him. Along with the installation of the idol of Lord Ganesh, offerings of sindoor, flower garlands, incense, lamp, akshata, paan, ladoo, modak, durva, etc. should be made.

Subsequently, Shri Ganesh should be worshipped regularly in accordance with the ritual. The immersion of the idol should be carried out on the fifth, seventh, or eleventh day, as per family tradition. Preparations are underway across the country for the arrival of Lord Ganesha. In Maharashtra, this festival holds special significance, with Bappa being regarded as the god of knowledge, prosperity, and good fortune. Bappa is also known by various names, including Gajanan, Vinayak, Ekadant, and Vakratund.
