Garbage Dumping On Pune-Miraj-Kolhapur Railway Tracks Poses Severe Safety Risks For Trains And Passengers
Pune- Miraj – Kolhapur railway line is an important link connecting Mumbai /Pune to South. This line passes through 10-12 Km stretch of Pune city.
But it is very unfortunate that people residing near railway line between Ghorpadi –Sasvad – Fursungi are regularly throwing very large amount of Garbage on railway track.
Such large amount of Garbage creates very unsafe condition for the trains and passengers running is the trains.
These garbage attract stray animal and may cause fire which will be very unsafe for trains and passengers.
This problem is very prominent in Saiyad Nagar, Kale Padal, Ramtekadi and Ghorpadi chal area.
Public residing in these locality are requested to refrain from throwing Garbage on railway track otherwise punitive action as per Indian Railway Act shall be initiated against the erring people.
Civic Administration of these area are requested to take necessary step to stop the activity of Garbage Central Railway
