Founded in 2015 by Siddhant Bhalinge, Ugaoo aims to revolutionize urban gardening and indoor plant care in India.

• Expansion Plans: The funds will be used to:

• Expand its retail footprint to 80 stores across top 10 Indian cities by FY30.

• Diversify product offerings, including exotic plants and premium plant care products, through collaborations with international suppliers.

• Increase its regional and overseas presence.

• Customer Base: Ugaoo targets women aged 25–60, along with gardening and home décor enthusiasts across urban and semi-urban areas.

Current Operations

Ugaoo serves customers nationwide through:

  • • Its website and mobile app.
  • • Physical stores in Pune, Mumbai, and Bengaluru (9 stores).
  • • Digital marketplaces: Amazon, Flipkart.
  • • Quick-commerce platforms: Zepto, Swiggy, Blinkit.

The company operates a 25-acre farm in Talegaon, near Pune, where plants are grown in-house using greenhouses and horticulture expertise. It has fulfilled over 1 million orders in the last three years, achieving an Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) of over ₹100 crore.

Competitive Landscape

Ugaoo faces competition from other Indian gardening brands, including Urvann, Kyari, Nurserylive, GreenMyLife, and Grow Garden. However, its strong omnichannel presence and focus on in-house production give it a distinct edge.

By FY30, Ugaoo plans to become a dominant player in India’s gardening industry, with a robust retail network, a wider product range, and a growing international footprint. Its mission is to make gardening accessible and enjoyable for every Indian household.

This funding round marks a significant milestone in Ugaoo’s journey, signaling strong investor confidence in the rising demand for urban gardening and sustainable living solutions in India.
