Gas Cylinder Theft : Pimpri Chinchwad police seize 72 LPG cylinders from robbers in Wakad and Thergaon
The Crime Branch of Pimpri Chinchwad police has detained three people who were illegally transferring gas from one cylinder to another. The detainees were named as Vishnu Jyotiram Sutar, Atul Srihari Panchal, and Jairam Sarjerao Chaudhary.
Police received reports of illegal gas theft in Wakad and Thergaon. The police have seized a total of 72 cylinders worth nearly one and a half lakh rupees (Rs 1,50,225), including 43 domestic use cylinders, three commercial cylinders, and 26 small four-kilo cylinders.
