German Bakery blast : Pune pays homage to victims
Pune: A programme to pay tribute to the German bakery blast victims was held on February 13 at the German Bakery in Koregaon Park. The bomb blast incident took place 13 years ago in Pune, on February 13. The blast killed 17 young individuals and injured many who were visiting the bakery on this day.
The tribute was paid by the Koregaon Park Jagrut Samiti and attendees included members of the Samiti, Sangita Tiwari, President of Pune City Congress Arvind Shinde, President of Nationalist Congress Party Pune city Prashant Jagtap, and various other people from across the city. Candles were lit and flowers were offered in memory of the young lives lost in the tragedy.
