Golden jubilee celebrations of Sahakar Darbar held in Pimple Saudagar
Pune Dist Co-op Housing and Apartments Federation, Pimple Saudagar Branch recently held the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Sahakar Darbar on 7 May 2022 in Hotel Govind Garden.
Commissioner of Co-operation Anil Kavade (IAS) was the Chief Guest along with Suhas Patwardhan Chairman of the Federation, Narayan Aghav, Dist Dy Registrar and Navnath Anpat, Dy Registrar of Pimpri Chinchwad area (Pune 3), Ex. Corporator Shatrughna Kate presided over the function while Sujit Nanavare, Asst. Engineer of Mahavitaran was also present to reply to the queries of the residents about electricity supply.
Charuhas Kulkarni Head of Pimple Saudagar Branch of the Federation anchored the Sahakar Darbar. Kulkarni informed the various drives like Property Card drive, Deemed Conveyance drive etc and special programs conducted in Sahakar Darbar.
Chairman of the Federation Suhas Patwardhan talked about the work of Federation as how it guides as a Friend, Philosopher and Guide to the Housing societies and Apartments too. He also explained various activities undertaken by the Federation in the interest of the housing societies. He also informed about PIL filed in High Court for abolishing NA Tax.
Subhash Dhavale, Anil Asgekar and Advocate Jyotsna Joshi were felicitated for their contribution to the Sahakar Darbar, at the hands of Anil Kavade.
While addressing the audience Anil Kavade expressed that it was very important for any housing society to follow Law and order situation. Follow the bye laws and ensure proper co-operation from the members. He stressed on “Dispute Free Societies” and suggested that nobody should forget the essence of co-operation. Office bearers should do their work with honesty, dedication and approach of service to the society, whereas members should respect the work of Managing Committee. Unnecessary blaming MC members should be avoided. Self-discipline is also very important. Well managed, dispute free Housing society should be the dream of all members. He also stressed on conveyance or deemed conveyance of the societies. He told that 55 to 60% of the societies do not have land in their name and this situation will create problem for members in future which they do not realise now.
District Deputy Registrar Narayan Aghav explained the situation in 2005 when the concept of Deemed Conveyance came into existence. He also told how society friendly system has been evolved by the govt. He said that he is planning with the help of PDCH & AF, to take up survey of all housing societies in Pune District on Conveyance issue.
Shatrughna Kate in his address said, “Societies should seek help of the Federation which holds Sahakar Darbar for any guidance. These sessions are held in Pimple Saudagar for the benefit of the local area societies.” Mandar Sahaje, chairman, Ganesh Residency proposed vote of thanks.
