Good News: FLY91 launches new routes connecting Pune to Jalgaon, enhancing regional connectivity

FLY91 is set to enhance regional connectivity with the introduction of new flight routes connecting Pune to Jalgaon. This new service, which will operate on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, marks a significant step forward for the airline and the residents of both cities.

In a meeting with Jalgaon district collector Ayush Prasad, FLY91 officials discussed the new routes and their potential benefits. The airline will serve these routes using a 76-seater ATR aircraft, with operations from Jalgaon with necessary permissions from the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and other relevant authorities.

The introduction of air connectivity is particularly advantageous for the residents of Jalgaon, especially students. Currently, many buses operate daily between Pune and Jalgaon, but the new flight route will offer a faster and more convenient travel option.

Presently, no commercial flights operate from Jalgaon airport, which is managed by the Airport Authority of India (AAI). A previous attempt by a private airline to operate flights from Jalgaon to Mumbai and Pune in September 2019 ceased in April 2022 due to technical issues.
