Grand Soldierathon Marathon to be organized in Dapodi on December 17
On 17th December (Sunday), a large-scale marathon ‘CME Soldierathon Marathon’ will be organized in Dapodi.
As per further information, citizens have a rare opportunity to run in CME Soldierathon Marathon which goes around 3 beautiful lakes, scenic forest and with soldiers of India.
The CME Soldierathon is a Marathon in the honour of wounded soldiers & martyrs of the Indian Armed Forces. The runners will experience a very rare opportunity to run with several soldiers inside College of Military Engineering (CME) Pune in Dapodi. CME Pune is Indian Army’s one of the finest premier institutions serving the nation since 1943.
Every registered runner will get Dry Fit T-Shirt, Goodie Bag, Achiever’s Medal, Race Certificate, Hydration, Nutritious Breakfast, Medical Support and Free Downloadable Photographs of the Marathon. The route of CME Soldierathon will take runners through breathtakingly scenic nature, forest, migratory birds and lake. The event will also provide once in a lifetime opportunity to people from all walks of life to run shoulder to shoulder with soldiers and also experience the military way of life!

· 10 Kms (Timed Run) – 14 Years and above
· 5 Kms (Non-Timed Fun Run/ Walk) – 8 Years and above

16th Dec, The day etched in history of Bharat as Vijay Diwas. Soldierathon Vijay Run is celebration of heroism and victory of our Armed Forces over Pakistan in the 1971 war. Funds raised by Soldierathon Vijay Run will go to Paraplegic Rehabilitation Centre, Kirkee Pune where our wounded bravehearts are undergoing rehabilitation.
