In a tale of unexpected adventures, a man from Gujarat found himself embarking on an impromptu journey aboard the Vande Bharat Express after going to drop his wife off at the station.

What was meant to be a simple act of assistance turned into a “premium journey” as he found himself locked inside the moving train.

The incident unfolded when the man went to the station to help his wife board the Vande Bharat Express from Vadodara to Mumbai. As he assisted her with her luggage and settled it near their seats, the automated doors of the train suddenly closed, trapping him inside.

His daughter, Kosha, shared the amusing story on social media platform X, along with a screenshot of her chat with her father on WhatsApp. In the exchange, her father sent her a selfie of himself with his wife, capturing the unexpected turn of events.

According to Kosha’s account, her mother was traveling on the Vande Bharat Express for the first time to visit her daughter in Mumbai. With two large bags in tow, her father took charge of the luggage to ensure her comfort during the journey.

However, as they were settling in, the automatic doors of the train began beeping, signaling their closure. Before her father could react, he found himself locked inside as the train started moving. Despite his efforts to alert the ticket collector and halt the train, it was too late, and the train had already gained speed.

In an unforeseen twist, both Kosha’s parents ended up embarking on an unexpected joint journey. While her father traveled to the next station, Surat, his wife continued her journey to Mumbai. This left their car parked miles away at the Vadodara railway station.

The post quickly went viral on social media, garnering nearly 90k views and sparking laughter and amusement among netizens who found humour in the unexpected turn of events.
