Hearing on objections on draft ward structure to be held on February 25

Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation on February 22 informed that the hearing on the objections and suggestions sent by the citizens shall be held on  Friday, February 25. 

Rajesh Patil, commissioner, PCMC said, “The hearing shall be conducted by state cooperation commissioner and cooperative society controller Anil Kawade, who has been appointed as the election officer by the State Election Commission. The draft ward structure was announced by the State election commission of Maharashtra on February 1, 2022 and had given time till February 14, to send the objections and suggestions. In this 14 days, over 5684 objections and suggestions were received by the PCMC. The hearing shall be conducted at the Auto Cluster in Chinchwad on February 25 at 10 am. The time table for the hearing is uploaded on www.pcmcindia.gov.in.

The citizens who have raised objections and suggestions have been intimated to attend the hearing. Those who have not received it can meet the Election Office in the PCMC building. The citizens attending the hearing should carry the acknowledgement of the objection letter copy, notice of hearing, identity proof, etc. Those who are fully vaccinated should carry their certificate, wear mask and carry sanitiser at the time of the hearing.
