Helmets distributed to motorists by Kondhwa residents

A leading safety consultant from Pune held a helmet awareness counselling campaign and free distribution of Vega (ISI marked) helmets to riders as a moral responsibility.

Alarming fatalities involving two wheeler riders in Pune city due to road traffic accidents (78 in one quarter of year).

Vishal Randive, a resident of Sai Blessings society said, “The campaign was carried in loving memory of our father Vilas Vishnu Randive who died in a road accident (1982) leaving small children and wife lonely to struggle.”

The distribution was also carried on account of 72nd birthday celebration of Shobha Vilas Randive our mother, he added.

The event was successfully carried out in cooperation with Wanowrie Traffic Control Branch lead by Police Sub Inspector S.M.Inamdar and team A A Bokare (HC), F.H.Sayyed(HC), S.V Dukre Patil (HC), R.S.Takavale (LPC), R.L Khadde (LPC).

For Kondhwa traffic control Sanjay Karad(PC), Pandurang Davande (Warden), M.R Davkar( Warden) lend the helping hand.
