Hinjawadi Bandh : Residents call for Bandh on September 6 amid violence in Jalna

PUNE: Residents have called for Hinjawadi Bandh on September 6, Wednesday, to protest against the lathi charge that took place at Antarwali in Jalna District.

As per the information provided, except for essential services (medical and pharmacy), all the shops will be closed in this bandh till 6:00 p.m. Hinjawadi villagers will protest by observing a strict bandh, and all services will be restored later.

While talking to Pune Pulse, Vivek Mugalikar, Senior Police Inspector, Hinjawadi Police Station, added, ”Hinjawadi Bandh has been called by protestors on September 6 in five villages. All the essential services will be kept on, and shops will remain closed up to 6 pm. Around 100–150 police will be deployed on the bandh day.”
