The police department’s immoral human trafficking prevention unit has arrested two people running a prostitution business under the guise of a spa center. This action was taken at the Breath Spa located in Hinjawadi on Friday (5th). Three women involved in the prostitution business were rescued in this raid.

The accused identified in this case are Spa Manager Pawan Balasaheb Vanve (age 21, from R.A. Junnar Sangavi, original R.A. Beed) and Spa Owner Deepak Jyotiram Kolhapurkar (age 40, from Vadgaon, Pune). Police Sub-Inspector Sunil Shirsat has filed a complaint at the Hinjawadi Police Station.

According to the information provided by Police Inspector Devendra Chavan, certain brokers under the spa’s name lure women into the prostitution business for their own financial gain, showing them the lure of big money. This information led to the immoral human trafficking prevention unit taking action. Accordingly, a raid was conducted at Breath Spa in Hinjawadi within the jurisdiction of the Hinjawadi Police Station. In this raid, the police have rescued three women.

Under the guidance of Police Commissioner Vinay Kumar Chaube, Additional Police Commissioner Vasanta Paradeshi, Deputy Police Commissioner (Crime) Sandeep Doye-Fode, Assistant Police Commissioner (Crime) Dr. Vishal Hire, the immoral human trafficking prevention unit’s Police Inspector Devendra Chavan, Police Sub-Inspector Sunil Shirsat, Maruti Karchude, Bhagwanta Muthe, Ganesh Karote, Sudha Tokhe, Vaishnavi Gawde, Sangita Jadhav, Sonali Mane were involved in this operation.
