Today, on the occasion of Martyrdom Day of our 9th Guru- Shri Guru Teg Bahadur ji ( Hind ki Chaddar) and his followers Bhai Sati Dass, Bhai Mati Dass and Bhai Dyaala ji for not following forceful conversion to Islam by the then Mughal Sultanate. A surprise visit from heads of Muslim Community from India and UK was seen at the Gurudwara Guru Nanak Darbar Pune Camp. 

The dignitaries paid homage and took Blessings from Shri Guru Granth Sahib ji. 

The Muslim Community has published a Coffee Table book on Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Footsteps in Benares & Beyond and requested the Gurudwara President S. Charanjit Singh Sahni, Committee members Kuljit Singh Choudhary and Mohinder Singh Kandhari to inaugurate, shared the organiser of the event . 

The following members were present for the programme such as Riaz Omer – Chairman, Moledina Group of Educational Institutions, Pune, Dr N D Kotwal, Secretary & Ex Principal of Poona College, Kotwal, Dr Bazil Shaikh, Abrar Rashid – Free Lance Journalist (Ex SV), Altaf Khan, Nadeem Inamdar – Special Correspondent, Hindustan Times.

All trustees and members were present in huge numbers to welcome the dignitaries and took them around the Guru Nanak Medical Foundation, Guru Nanak Public School, Musuem and showcased the Langar arrangements. 

Special thanks to Mohinder Singh Khandari ji, who arranged this visit along with Rajvir Singh Ghai, NP Bakshi, Vikram Singh Kanda, Dilip Singh Rank, Surinder Singh Dhupar, Santokh Singh Labana and President Gurbir Singh Makhija of World Sikh Punjabi Chamber Of Commerce, informed the organiser.
