Honda Activa e: Electric Scooter Launched at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 – Price, Range, and Features

Honda has unveiled its much-awaited electric scooter, the Activa e:, at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Priced at ₹1,17,000 (ex-showroom), the Activa e: represents Honda’s foray into the rapidly growing electric two-wheeler segment in India.
Specifications and Features
- Motor: Powered by a 6 kW (8 bhp) Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor producing 22 Nm of peak torque.
- Battery: Equipped with dual 1.5 kWh swappable battery packs, the scooter delivers a certified range of 102 km per charge (Indian Driving Cycle).
- Riding Modes: Three options – Standard, Sport, and ECON – cater to varied rider preferences, with ECON mode optimizing range and Sport mode enhancing performance.
- Digital Console: A modern TFT digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity enables features such as navigation, music controls, and call/SMS alerts.
Swappable Battery Technology
A standout feature of the Activa e: is its swappable battery system, supported by Honda’s robust charging infrastructure. Over 85 battery swapping stations are already operational in Bengaluru, ensuring a station within a 5 km radius in the city. Honda Power Pack Energy India Private Limited (HEID) is expanding this network to Delhi and Mumbai.
HEID, which has been operating swappable charging stations for electric three-wheelers since 2021, now integrates the Activa e: into its ecosystem.

The Activa e: will compete with established players in the market, including the TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Ather 450X, and Ola S1 Pro. Honda aims to set itself apart with cutting-edge technology, a competitive price, and an extensive battery-swapping network.

The scooter is manufactured at Honda’s advanced facility in Karnataka, near Bengaluru, catering to both domestic and export demands.
