Singer Sonu Nigam stopped his performance midway after a fan suddenly climbed onto the stage during his live concert in Kolhapur. The singer later shared the video online and appealed to fans not to repeat such behaviour.
Popular singer Sonu Nigam recently faced an unexpected moment during his live concert in Kolhapur when a fan suddenly climbed onto the stage while he was performing.
Videos from the concert are now going viral on social media, showing the fan approaching the singer in the middle of a song and attempting to touch his feet.
The incident forced Sonu Nigam to briefly stop singing during the live performance.
In the video shared by the singer himself on Instagram, Sonu Nigam can be seen stepping back slightly as the man wearing a white T-shirt rushed towards him on stage. The fan then tried to seek blessings by touching the singer’s feet.
Security personnel immediately moved towards the fan to remove him from the stage. However, instead of reacting angrily, Sonu Nigam handled the situation calmly and even tried to lighten the atmosphere.
Smiling at the audience, the singer said, “Wow, you did well!”
The fan was later seen singing along for a few moments before being escorted away by security staff.
Sharing the video online, Sonu Nigam also gave a warning to fans about crossing safety limits during public events.
“Audience, why are you getting beaten up?….I saved you this time, but I can’t save you every time,” the singer wrote in his post.
The singer’s reaction quickly drew attention online. While many users criticised the fan for creating a disturbance and risking security at the event, several others praised Sonu Nigam for remaining calm and respectful throughout the situation.
