Pune- ICICI Bank has communicated recently to its customers via mail about revisions to various credit card services that will take effect from July 1, 2024. These revisions include discontinuation of charges associated with several essential services.

The following are the charges that will be discontinued

1.      Charge slip request- Effective July 1, a fee of Rs 100 per charge slip request will not be there.

2.      Cheque/cash pick-up fee- ICICI bank will no longer charge a fee of Rs 100 per pick-up for cheque or cash collection services.

3.      Dial-a-draft transaction fee- Customers availing Dial-a-draft service will not have to pay a fee equivalent to 3% of the draft amount or a maximum of Rs 300, effective July 1

4.      Outstation cheque processing fees- A fee equivalent to 1% of the cheque value or a maximum of Rs 100 will not be charged for outstation cheque processing from July 1

5.      Duplicate bank statements- customers who request duplicate bank statements for three months will not be charged Rs 100 per statement

Other changes include-

1.      A standard fee of Rs 200 will be applicable for all card replacements

2.      Users of the Amazon Pay ICICI Credit Card will experience a shift in their rewards program from June 18

3.      Rent payments made through the card will no longer accrue reward points

4.      The card will continue to offer a 1% discount on fuel surcharge payments without restrictions on rewards or expiration dates

However, users must note that reward points will not be earned on Equated Monthly Instalment (EMI) transactions and gold purchases.
