Important : Pune Mumbai Expressway Reports Heavy Congestion Of Vehicles

PUNE: Earlier today, there was a significant traffic congestion on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway, with vehicles clustered together for distances of four to five kilometers.

As per the information, officials attribute this congestion to the number of people traveling between Mumbai and Pune for the Ganesh festival. To alleviate the traffic on the expressway, the highway traffic police were deployed and worked to reduce inconvenience for commuters.

However, despite their efforts, some individuals still encountered traffic jams in the ghat section and toll plazas, resulting in long lines of vehicles stretching for kilometers. Despite these challenges, some commuters expressed gratitude for the steps taken by the highway police to prevent prolonged traffic congestion.

Travellers are advised to check the status of the congestion before leaving for their journey towards Pune or Mumbai.
