Important : Pune-Side Lane on Mumbai-Pune Expressway To Remain Closed for 2 Hours To Carry Out Gantry Work
On September 1, traffic on the Mumbai-Pune expressway lanes leading to Lonavala from the Pune side will be blocked for two hours due to the construction of gantry on Lonavala side.
As per information, Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) officials confirmed that the work of gantry will be carried out between 12 pm to 2 pm on September 1, (Friday).
Motorists heading to Pune from the Pune-Mumbai expressway-bound lanes have been advised to exit the highway at the Khandala ghat and return to the highway at the Valavan toll booth near Lonavala.
The Mumbai-Pune expressway is country’s first access-controlled expressway, connecting the state’s two largest cities, and was opened in 2002. It covers an area of 95 km.
