India’s First Swachh Bharat Academy To Start In Thane

Maharashtra State Skill University’s Government Technical School in Thane will host the nation’s first Swachh Bharat Academy. On February 14, Maharashtra State Skills University and BVG – Bharat Development Group signed an agreement in the presence of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

Various certificate, diploma, degree courses will be started in country’s first Swachh Bharat Academy. Various courses will be implemented in Swachh Bharat Academy in collaboration with Maharashtra State Skill Development Innovation Society, Directorate of Vocational Education and Training, Maharashtra Skill Development University, and Bharat Development Group. Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan has become a nationwide movement.

To gear up Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan the academy will make sure there should not be a shortage of skilled manpower. In association with Maharashtra State Skill University and Bharat Vikas Group, action will be taken to train the youth and provide them with employment opportunities.

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Minister of Skill, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Department Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Industry Minister Uday Samant, Commissioner of Maharashtra State Innovation Society Nidhi Chaudhary, Vice Chancellor of Maharashtra State Skill University Dr. Apoorva Palkar, Hanmant Gaikwad of Bharat Vikas Group- BVG and others were present while signing the MoU.
