International Firefighters day conducted in Pune Camp
To commemorate the sacrifices laid down by fire fighters across the globe and spread awareness amongst all ranks, International FireFighters Day 2023 was conducted at Pune Camp under the aegis of HQ Southern Comd on 04 May 2023.Â
In addition to the fire fighting columns of Indian Army, a column from Pune Municipal Corporation also took active part in imparting training and spreading awareness including sharing latest techniques regarding fire fighting skills to the troops. The Joint training enhanced the cohesiveness between Indian Army and Pune Municipal Corporation.Â
It was a landmark event in establishing synergy between the Military and Civil establishment of Pune. This jointness & awareness will surely provide impetus and opportunity to perform coordinated fire fighting operations & render maximum aid in minimum possible time to save precious lives & valuable assets.
