iPhone 16 Pro, 16 Pro Max Break Records Ahead of Launch, Leaks Suggest

Even before their official unveiling, Apple’s forthcoming iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are making waves with reports suggesting they will feature the thinnest screen bezels ever seen on any smartphone.

According to multiple online sources from China, these new iPhones will boast unprecedentedly slim bezels, a claim further supported by serial tipster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce on X).

Measurements circulating online indicate that the iPhone 16 Pro will have bezels measuring just 1.2 mm, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max will push the envelope even further with 1.15 mm bezels. For context, the bezels on the current iPhone 15 Pro are 1.71 mm thick. While this difference may appear minor, it is expected to be quite noticeable when the devices are compared side-by-side.

This reduction in bezel size aligns with Apple’s continuous efforts to enhance the aesthetic appeal and user experience of its flagship devices. Apple is evidently focused on slimming down its products, as seen with the new iPad Pro, which is the company’s thinnest product ever, surpassing even the iPod Nano in slimness. 

The anticipated iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max are not only about aesthetics; thinner bezels contribute to a more immersive display experience. By minimizing the border around the screen, Apple can provide a larger viewing area without increasing the overall size of the device.
