Is Maharashtra bandh today? Rumours Going around Social Media : Check Details

Pune: There has been a huge uproar on social media that there is a Maharashtra Bandh on behalf of the ‘Maratha Kranti Morcha’ to support Manoj Jarange Patil with the demand for the Maratha reservation. The post of Maharashtra Bandh being called for Maratha Reservation was widely going viral on social media. However, it has been disclosed by the Maratha community that no such bandh has been called.

As per further information, the Maratha community has taken a stance on the viral message regarding the Maharashtra Bandh. No message of Maharashtra Bandh has come from Jarange Patil. The police force has been deployed in all the districts. Along with this, the police have appealed not to spread rumours.

Curfew is currently in place in the Dharashiv and Beed districts. Everything except essential facilities will be closed in these two districts. It will not be closed anywhere except in two districts. The Maratha Kranti Morcha has not called for a Maharashtra Bandh.

Satara district bandh has been decided on behalf of the Maratha community. A decision has been taken in the meeting to support Jarange Patil’s movement and demand reservation for the Maratha community. To support Manoj Jarange-Patil’s movement and not give reservations to the Maratha community. The students of the village studying from class I to IX have supported the Maratha movement.
