ISHRAE Pune Chapter Organizes 3rd RefTech Series on World Refrigeration Day

Pune: The Indian Society of Heating Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) Pune Chapter celebrated World Refrigeration Day on June 26 by organizing the 3rd RefTech Series. As part of the month-long celebration, the chapter conducted various programs including online sessions, industrial tours, and seminars in collaboration with companies such as Kirloskar Pneumatic, Lu-Ve Group, Refcon Engineering Services, and Parag Marketing.
Following this year’s ‘Know Your Product’ theme, the program commenced with an introduction by Manas Kulkarni, followed by insights shared by Nandkishor Kotkar, President of the Pune Chapter, about the organization and its activities. The event featured informative sessions by industry experts, including discussions on energy efficiency in cold storage by Sanjay Phadke and the use of Sustainability and Carbon Dioxide as a new refrigerant by Dr Kundan Kumar. Neeraj Magnani discussed the applications of IoT and augmented reality in the field.
Special guests Arvind Surange and RP Paranjpe shed light on the impact of refrigeration on our lives and the environment. The program received sponsorship from companies such as Hicon, Parag Marketing, and Refcool, and was successfully moderated by Mahesh More and Devika Mutha. Manas Kulkarni, Pramod Waje, Mahesh More, and other members of ISHRAE Pune Chapter hosted the event. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Subhash Khanade.
The RefTech Series attracted over 110 delegates from Maharashtra, Gujarat, Konkan, and other regions, creating an engaging platform for knowledge exchange and industry insights.
