IT professional booked for assaulting CISF personnel at Pune airport

Pune: Vimantal Police on Sunday, March 12 late night arrested a 24 year old IT professional woman for allegedly attacking a personnel of Central Industrial Security Forces (CISF) at Pune airport.

According to a complaint filed by CISF Inspector Rupali Thoke (38), she was deputed at Pune International Airport gate number 1. Thoke in her complaint mentioned that, on Sunday night at around 12:00 am, accused Gunjan Rajeshkumar Agrawal (24) reached at airport gate by cab. She had heated arguments with the cab driver over cab charges. When the cab driver approached airport authority to intervene, airport terminal manager Bhakti Lulla asked the accused to maintain discipline at the airport.

However, accused Agarwal abused Lulla and thrashed her. At that time complainant Toke was there and trying to cool down the situation. But accused Gunjan Agarwal thrashed the complainant and slapped her. When the complainant resisted her, the accused bit the complainant on her left hand and created disturbance while discharging her duty. 

Vilas Sonde, senior police inspector at VimanTal police station told that,the accused slapped, assaulted  the CISF officer and created disturbance while discharging her duty. Hence, we have arrested her under sections 332, 353 of the IPC.
