Landslide : Pune Mumbai Expressway To Remain Closed For Two Hours. Check Details.

The travellers between Pune and Mumbai are facing tough time as the Pune Mumbai Expressway has been temporarily kept closed to clear off the debris which occurred due to landslide at Adoshi toll naka and near Lonavala today morning. The two incidents of landslide have left the travellers stranded on the expressway.

Earlier last night landslide occurred at Adoshi tunnel and all three lanes were kept closed and only one lane was open for vehicles to pass. But at 3 AM, another landslide took place at Lonavala and the traffic had to be suspended again. At present,, the expressway will be kept closed for heavy vehicles between 12 PM to 2 PM. The heavy vehicles have been stopped at Urse Toll Naka (Kiwale) and only four wheelers are allowed to go further.

At present two lanes have been started. At present, only four-wheelers are allowed. Heavy vehicles have been stopped before Lonavala. Although the traffic is moving, the number of vehicles is huge. Due to this, there is a traffic jam in Lonavala Ghat.
