Late-Night Bustle at Bengaluru Pub Owned by Shilpa Shetty Sparks Online Frenzy
Bengaluru witnessed a viral incident at one of its popular nightlife spots when a minor dispute inside a pub co-owned by Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty escalated into a heated argument among patrons. The episode, captured on CCTV and shared widely on social media, has prompted local police to launch an investigation.
The incident occurred around 1:30 am on December 11 at Bastian, a well-known pub located on St. Mark’s Road. Footage circulating online shows a group of customers in a loud verbal confrontation. While the argument appears intense, there is no visible evidence of physical violence, and pub staff reportedly stepped in to calm the situation.
Preliminary reports suggest that the uproar started over a minor disagreement during bill settlement. What should have been a routine transaction quickly turned into a verbal clash between patrons before being contained by the pub’s staff.
Among those present in the viral footage is Satya Naidu, a businessman, former Bigg Boss contestant, and ex-husband of a television anchor. His involvement has further fueled online discussions about the incident. Addressing the situation, Naidu clarified that he had visited the pub for dinner with friends, denied any misconduct, and maintained that the argument was limited to the billing process, with no physical altercation taking place.
Shilpa Shetty, who co-owns Bastian with restaurateur Ranjit Bindra since 2019, was not present during the incident and does not appear in any of the videos. The actor has not made any public comments regarding the situation.
