Local Holidays Announced For Pune District; Gauri Pujan To Be A Holiday
Pune, September 1, 2025: Divisional Commissioner of Pune Division, Dr. Chandrakant Pulkundwar, has announced local holidays for all government and semi-government offices as well as schools in Pune district for the year 2025.
This order has been issued under the powers granted as per the provisions of the government notification dated March 14, 1983, from the General Administration Department.
As per the announcement, employees and students in the district will get holidays on Gauri Pujan, Ghatasthapana, and Naraka Chaturdashi.
The declared local holidays are:
- Monday, September 01, 2025 – Gauri Pujan
- Monday, September 22, 2025 – Ghatasthapana
- Monday, October 20, 2025 – Naraka Chaturdashi.       Â
