In a heartwarming twist, Yusuff Ali decided to reciprocate the kindness. He gifted Effin M a luxurious Rado watch valued at ₹2 lakh. The surprise was shared by Effin M on social media, showing him receiving the watch during a visit to the Lulu Group headquarters in Kochi.
This touching tribute was inspired by a video where Ali spoke movingly about his love for his mother. Effin M explained his choice by saying, “I saw a video of you speaking about your mother and how much you love her.” Yusuff Ali, visibly moved, humbly responded, “Everyone loves their mothers, it’s not just me. Who in the world does not love their mother?”
The gift was not just a watch but a waterproof one with an engraving of Ali’s mother, adding a sentimental touch to the gesture. The watch became a poignant reminder of Ali’s parents, who tragically passed away in a car accident in 2001 while traveling from Dubai to Abu Dhabi.
