Maha govt issues stricter guidelines; limits timings of grocery shops

Just a week after the state government imposed stringent restrictions on movement in Maharashtra, the state government has now restricted the timings of grocery shopping to just fours a day. Now, the shops shall be allowed to remain open only between 7 am to 11 am. Though a formal notification is yet to be issued by the government, which is expected to come within a day or two. These orders shall remain in force throughout the state from 8 am on 20 April 2021 till 7 am May 1, 2021. 

The latest State Govt notification regarding reduction in *shop timings of essential items which will be from 7 am to 11 am*
All types of groceries, vegetables shops, fruit vendors, dairies, bakeries, confectionaries, all types of food shops (including mutton, chicken, poultry, fish and eggs) shops related to impending rainy season for individuals as well as for organisations to be open only between 7 am to 11 am. 
Home deliveries from above shops are allowed from 7 am to 8 pm. These timings may change by the local authority. 

All other exceptions and restrictions continue as per earlier notifications.*
All other conditions other than the ones specified in this order will be in accordance with the Government order dated 13 April 2021 and additions and clarifications already issued by the state government. 
The notification is applicable for the entire State of Maharashtra and is in *English*, *valid from 20/04/21 till 7 am 01/05/21 orders.*
